If the sharp action is any indication for what we are in store for Thursday night, all fantasy owners need to employ skill position players on both sides of the ball. According to the information provided to Sports Illustrated and Fulltime Fantasy by Vegas Whispers, the sharps are backing the ‘Hawks laying the -1.5 points. The Seahawks (3-1 SU & 2-2 ATS) will be looking for their first home win against the spread when they take on a Rams team that gave up 55 points in home defeat to Tampa Bay. Los Angeles (3-1 SU, 3-1 ATS) took down many people in survivor pools last week as 10-point home favorites losing SU for the first time this season. The sharps are continuing to follow the trends as the Rams are 3-9 ATS in their 12 meetings at CenturyLink Field. The Rams enter the game on a short week as a one dimensional team that is pass happy and just saw QB Jared Goff tie an NFL record with 45 completions in Week 4 versus Tampa Bay. Rams RB Todd Gurley is no fan of Thursday night games, “ I feel like they are the dumbest thing ever.” In a game that has the second highest total (49.5) on the board in Week 5, fantasy players should start Chris Carson, Tyler Lockett, Will Dissly, Cooper Kupp, and Robert Woods with confidence. Although, Gurley has seven touchdowns and 293 yards from scrimmage in his past two games in Seattle, his owners should temper expectations in this one.
